Having Delicious Dim Sum Spread From In Colonial Restaurant The Intermark Kuala Lumpur

In reality, it is really difficult to find delicious Halal dim sum in town and when my friend, Miera invited me recently to In Colonial Restaurant, I immediately said yes to her invitation as I am really excited about it. Why not give it a try, right?

To be honest, I did not put high expectations on it since Halal dim sum will never be as tastier as the non-halal version due to the substitution used in making it a Halal version. But this proved me wrong after trying out the scrumptious dim sum spread that In Colonial Restaurant has to offer.

The One And Only Anglo Chinese Cuisine In Town

Have you heard about Anglo Chinese Cuisine before? For your information, In Colonial Restaurant located in The Intermark, Kuala Lumpur is the only restaurant in town that serves Anglo Chinese cuisine. The menu items available here are mainly inspired by the authentic Cantonese dishes that are typically adapted to the British tastes.

Now, we are fortunate to be able to savor the delicate Chinese cuisine with the touch and taste of the Malaysian Colonial Chinese Era. Furthermore, In Colonial Restaurant offers a new dining concept where East meets West and retro is blended with the modern.

The moment I stepped into the restaurant, I felt like I was dining at home with its beautiful cultural refinements of an English colonial atmosphere. For our parents and those living in the British era, they surely can immediately recall the forgotten traditions of a bygone era.

The Scrumptious And Delicious Halal Dim Sum Spread At In Colonial Restaurant

Finally after two years of dealing with the pandemic, In Colonial Restaurant is coming back stronger to serve their loyal customers and expanding their menu list by introducing the Halal dim sum spreads. The menu is carefully selected and curated by the talented in-house chef.

The dim sum consists of the bite-sized portions of steamed or fried dumplings and rolls with various fillings like meat, shrimp and vegetables with gravy or sauces. Dim sums do have a long history as this menu has its earliest record appearing in the Book of Tang that was written during the Era of the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms, during the years of 907 - 979.

Come and explore some of the options that were available during my recent dining at In Colonial Restaurant. I personally really like the taste of the dim sum that is so authentic, juicy in every bite and the ingredients used are so fresh especially the prawn. Most importantly, the dim sums spread available here resembles closely to the range that available in the market.
