In this entry, I will be sharing with you my personal staycation experience at Indie Hotel Kuala Lumpur. This hotel is strategically located in Changkat Bukit Bintang, the heart of the Kuala Lumpur city which is a prime location for both business and leisure. 

 
Although Indie Hotel Kuala Lumpur is surrounded by the urban concrete jungle, the tranquility around this hotel was well preserved where you still can wake up in the morning to enjoy the cool breeze with birds chirping just right outside of your hotel window.

Check In And Hotel Lobby

 
We reached the hotel lobby just in-time around 3.00 P.M, the standard check-in time that I believe observed by every hotel around Malaysia, based on my personal check-in experience. As usual, upon the arrival, the first thing to do was the new normal which is to scan our MySejahtera apps to check-in, scan our body temperature and last but not least, sanitize our hands before proceeding for the official check-in procedure. 
 
Remember to do this every time, everywhere you going because if caught guilty of violating the Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs), you can be fined up to RM10,000 and the companies or corporations can be fined up to RM50,000 as well starting 11st March 2021. So, remember to love your pocket by obeying all the necessary SOPs.

This 6-storey boutique hotel comes with a small lobby for the check-in and also a seated-waiting area where your family members can rest here while waiting for you to complete the check-in procedure.
 
Every corner in this hotel are monitored with CCTV to ensure your safety while staying in the hotel compound.

Just next to the waiting area, there is a mural painted on the staircase wall by the renowned artist Haris Rashid with the motive of flora and fauna. As a proud Sarawakian, the Hornbill is what that attracted my attention the most. This is one of the best spot for a perfect OOTD.

Indie Hotel comes with minimalist design yet practical and functional that able to meet our expectation. During my stay in this hotel, I got the Extra Large Room that featuring one Super King bed and one Queen bed with window. This 35-sqm room is comfortably fit 3 adults or maximum with 4 adults and a kid.

There is a large L-shaped working desk with an ergonomically chair that allows you to work comfortably while staying at the hotel, now you can Work From Hotel too. Besides this, there are other facilities or amenities in the room as well such as an electrical kettle with tea or coffee maker, iron with ironing board, open concept wardrobe, refrigerator and also a safe box to keep your belongings.

It has a comfortable and large attached private bathroom that comes with free toiletries and standing rain showers for a relax bath. The toilet is also a great place for photo shooting too with the great design and lighting. Do you see the ring lighted mirror?

Other than the Extra Large Room, Indie Hotel also have the Small Room with Queen Bed, Medium Room with Twin Bed and also Large Room with Super King Bed at the size of 20 sqm, 25 sqm and 30 sqm respectively. These rooms are designed to fit comfortable for 2 adults or maximum at 2 adults with a kid.

Regardless which room that you are staying here, all the beds are using the same material with the luxurious pillows. I really enjoy it so much and have the good awesome rest during my stay here.

And yes, all the rooms are air-conditioned and comes with window that you can enjoy the views from your room. Just to add that I have a million dollar view from my room which facing the KL Tower and turn so beautiful especially at night when it lighted up.

Forget to mentioned, this hotel provides Free Wireless Internet Access during your stay and each room have the 40-inch LED flat screen TV with premium channels that you can enjoy watching during your leisure time. 
 
On top of the indoor facilities, Indie Hotel has a limited private parking space just next to their building. So, you can have peace of mind while parking your car here but there is a charge for it.

As mentioned earlier, this hotel is located in the heart of the bustling Kuala Lumpur city. Hence, there are lots of attraction that situated just nearby this hotel that you can easily access either within the walking distance or by car and public transports. 

Some of the nearby attractions including Kuala Lumpur Convention Center, Pavilion Bukit Bintang, KL Tower, Merdeka Square and many more. If you enjoying night life too, you can visit the Changkat Bukit Bintang that offers great hangout place especially during the Friday night or weekend.
