Alamanda Shopping Centre Hosted Iftar Ramadan For Underprivileged Children

Alamanda Shopping Centre organized a joyful 'buka puasa' event to spread the joy in the spirit of the Holy Month of Ramadan with over 40 orphans and underprivileged children from Pusat Jagaan Kanak-Kanak Yatim/Miskin Rukaiyah located at Bandar Baru Bangi. 

 

The event was conducted at the mall's Centre Court as everyone was gathered here and warmly welcomed by Pang Sook Fong, General Manager of Alamanda Shopping Centre as she extended this during her welcoming speech.

The joyous 'buka puasa' event kick-started with one of the most exciting moments where the children were invited on a shopping spree to pick out brand new clothing and shoes for the upcoming Hari Raya celebration. 

You can see how thrilled they are when choosing their outfits and shoes by themselves, yes, their faces were beamed with happy smiles throughout the experience. 

Just before we proceed to break the fast, the children were entertained by the captivating traditional 'dikir barat' performance, followed by the 'duit raya' and the gifts-receiving ceremony sponsored by the mall tenants, making the overall experience for the children even more heart-warming and memorable one.

The carer of 'Pusat Jagaan Kanak-Kanak Yatim/Miskin Rukaiyah' also expressed their deepest gratitude to Alamanda Shopping Centre for organizing this event to cherish the children from this Care Centre. 

 

It is touching to see the community that comes together to ensure that the less fortunate are not forgotten during this special time of the year. 

 

The event then culminated with a sumptuous 'buka puasa' spread at a restaurant located in Alamanda Shopping Centre.

Mesra Mall Hosted Jalinan Mesra

 

Meanwhile in Kemaman, Mesra Mall held a meaningful charity event called 'Jalinan Mesra' on 6 April 2023 where 30 orphans from 'Persatuan Kebajikan Al-Islam Huzai Kemaman' (Rumah Huzai).

This event was held at the Mesra Hall where the orphans were treated to an evening of fun and festivities. 

During the event, Mesra Mall General Manager, Junaidy Jamaludin welcomed the 16 boys and 14 girls between the ages of 7 to 17 years old, and the girls each receive a set of 'Baju Kurung' with a shawl, while the boys will receive a set of 'Baju Melayu' with 'sampin'. 

These are perfect and just right on time as a preparation for the upcoming Hari Raya celebration. 

In addition to that, the children received various gifts from the mall's management and RM 100 'duit raya' each, followed by the 'buka puasa' feast, and were entertained by nasyid performances. 

The festivities were made possible by the sponsorship of Mesra Mall's retail partners, including Rasa Sayang, The Body Shop, TMC, BH Beauty, U-Sport, Tealive, Cuckoo, D'Laksa, Rasa Kampung, Mee Tarik Warisan Asli, Tastebuds, Nasi ZNZ, Yong Tau Fu, and VV Rosegold.
