Safari Park
After getting your ticket, the first attraction that you should explore is Safari Park so you won't miss out on the feeding show. This park stretches across 8 KM and the design is inspired by an African landscape that replicates the Savannah habitat.
As the largest section of Safari World Bangkok, Safari Park is home to large herds of Asian and African ungulates including Grant's zebra, Masai giraffe, Impala, White rhinoceros, Cape buffalo and many more.
Besides that, there is a large water bird sanctuary surrounding the park that houses a vast number of Great white pelicans, Painted storks, and more!

Here, you will spend approximately around 45-minutes either using your own private transport or alternatively hopping onto a coach at an extra cost of 60 THB per person from Safari World for animals up-close experience.
While traveling further into Safari Park, you will then reach the separate drive-throughs separated using gates and at this section, you will find all the majestic carnivores including the African lion, Bengal tiger and Asian black bear and American black bear too!
The main attraction in this area is the fierce animal feeding show that will take place at 10.00 AM daily. I had the opportunity for the very first time to see how the lions are fed daily. This herd of lions are really 'cute' but aggressive! Well, King of Animals, right!

Marine Park
The second park is Marine Park which houses a vast spectrum of animals from land, sea and air. As the main park, it is the ideal one-stop centre for fun and discovery with a true oasis for the animals.
Be sure to check out the 7 amazing world-class shows that you surely don't want to miss, which include Spy War Action Stunt Spectacular, Water Ski, Dolphin, Hollywood Cowboy Stunt, Bird, Orang Utan Boxing and Sea Lion Show.
After disembarking from the coach at the pick-up/drop-off point, we head directly to the Marine Park, so make sure that you purchase a ticket for both parks (Safari Park and Marine Park) in order for you to visit the park.

The first show that I attended in Marine Park was the Elephant Show where these elephants will show their greatest talents to amaze you during the showtime. They can dance, play basketball and football, paint with their trunk, show you the skill of how to use a blowpipe and even do a quick massage.
When the show team asks for volunteers, just act fast to be the chosen lucky one to experience the massage by the master masseur. I miss that opportunity even though I visited this park twice, maybe the next one?

Next on the list is the Eggs World, the Safari World's new educational centre that opened in May 2007. This centre provides the visitors with information about egg incubation with the attractive presentation using posters, signboards and videos.
You can see the technology and new mode sets of incubation equipment from the USA and Europe that make Eggs World the first of its kind and the leader of a world-class egg incubation centre in Thailand.

Have you ever fed the giraffe before or even had a super close encounter with the tallest living terrestrial animal and the largest ruminant on Earth? It is possible now when you visit Marine Park, remember I told you there are more than 200 giraffes in this park?
Just head to Safari Terrace and get a pail of food to feed them at the price of just 100 THB. Remember to be gentle and careful since you are handling the food with a stick, you don't want to hurt them.

My first half of the day is completed now and it is time for lunch before we continue the second half to explore more fun here in the park. You won't feel how fast time flies when you are here in Safari World Bangkok.
Worry about what to eat or drink? That should be your very last worry because there are ample and enough restaurants and booths to cater foods and drinks to all the visitors.
If you want to opt for a buffet, you can visit Jungle Cruise and Safari with a total seat capacity of up to 1,700 and 800 guests respectively. But, in this entry, I am focusing on the fast food restaurant called Tiger Burger.
There are options for Beef, Chicken or Fish, Spicy or non-spicy and options for Vegetarians too. For my lunch, I had the must-try Spicy Crying Tiger Burger Combo that comes with 6-pcs Chicken Nuggets (can ask for Fries) and a cup of Lemonade (can ask for Strawberry Punch).

We keep talking about Safari, why not explore the Amazon Jungle with River Safari where you will need to sail the river with your friends and family to explore the mystery of this adventurous place.
My friends and I had the opportunity to explore this Amazon Jungle which was full of excitement and fascination. Oh yes, please bear in mind that you will need to pay an extra 350 THB to enjoy this boat ride sailing down the river.

Once you complete the 30-minute River Safari boat ride, you can start to grab your seat for the Cowboy Stunt Show which is just next to the exit and this show will start at 3.15 PM.
Experience the lawless territory of the Wild Wild West to see how cowboys and bandits jostle for power with the intricate knock-downs, gunfights, bullwhips, fistfights and horseplay.
This is not the end yet! Your trip won't be complete too if you do not have memorable photos with the fur buddies. You can do this at the Open Air Studio at the cost of 200 THB each. Look at the collection that I had during my recent visit.

Last activity that I had before calling it a day at Marine Park, I visited Tree House Aviary & Kitchen. Here, you will be given an ice cream cone but this is not for you, ya! It is for the colorful and beautiful sun parakeets in the park.
Walk into the attraction (previously the Mini World) and they will come to you for the ice-cream treat. They are just so cute and fun to watch while enjoying their food.

That's all about how I spent my whole day exploring both Safari Park and Marine Park at Safari World Bangkok. Before the park closed, we had refreshing desserts at Animal Cafe. Just look at the menu they served here.
We ordered Giraffe Terrace that comes with Tiramisu Cake, Vanilla Soft-Serve and Giraffe Cookies (250 THB), Mango A 'Co-Co' which is the famous Thai Mango Sticky Rice with Mango Pudding (250 THB) and Elephant Split (220 THB) comes with Chocolate Banana Sundae and Elephant Cookie.

The time has struck 5.00 PM and it is time to make a move as the park closes at 5.00 P.M. daily. If you travel by taxi to the park from town and want to book your Grab using your app, trust me, it can be a real challenge. The solution is...
