The moment that we have been waiting for had finally taken place when Thailand announced 'Thailand Reopening' starting from 1st July 2022. In line with this announcement, international travelers will no longer need Thailand Pass and Health Insurance with coverage of no less than USD 10,000 to enter Thailand.
With this good news, my friends and I immediately plan a trip to Bangkok and the trip has successfully taken place from 19th August 2022 until 24th August 2022. In this entry, I will share my staycation experience at Centara Watergate Pavilion Hotel Bangkok.

Pratunam brings the meaning of 'Water Gate' and there is a water gate nearby this area that was built by King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) in the year 1905 for agriculture and water leveling purposes.
This is how this city got its name and now, Pratunam is prominently known as a shopping district with many shopping centers and departmental stores in this area, making this hotel the perfect choice for your next staycation in Bangkok.

I personally like the design of the room especially its striking white deco with tasteful touches of color. The room configurations are brilliant that create the feel of at own home during the stay.

Not only that, the en suite, modern yet spacious bathroom comes with both standing rain shower and bathtub making the whole stay even more ideal as I can enjoy a hot bath after a long day exploring the City of Angels.
Look at the toilet in this suite, I really love the setting especially the huge full-height mirror as it is really convenient for me to get ready and grooming will be easier with all the amenities provided.

My stay is complete with all the other amenities that have been provided in the room. Who doesn't want their room to have a bathrobe during the stay, an iron and ironing board provided, safety box to keep our valuable belonging, it is absolutely thoughtful as well for the hotel to provide an umbrella in the room and torch light in case of emergency.

The breakfast buffet will be served here too and there are two seating options available, either you can choose an indoor seat with air-conditioned or opt for the outdoor seating to enjoy the city view while having your breakfast with family and friends.

This fashionable rooftop bar offers a sophisticated space for you to savor delectable drinks and refreshments. You will be entertained with music from the resident DJ, as well as an interactive video wall and stunning city views at night.
However, during my stay, the rooftop bar is closed and I do not have any pictures to share, maybe this is a good reason for me to revisit Bangkok and repeat my staycation here at Centara Watergate Pavilion Hotel Bangkok, right?
