On the 3rd of December 2022, it was a great honour and pleasure to witness the grand opening ceremony of Santa Grand Signature Kuala Lumpur Hotel that officially opens its door today to the public to welcome guests from all walks of life.

This hotel is strategically located within close proximity to the Dang Wangi LRT Station, along Jalan Ampang, and within walking distance to Suria KLCC Shopping Center and Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

For your information, Santa Grand Signature Kuala Lumpur is the second property for Santa Grand Hospitality Sdn Bhd, and the first was the Santa Grand Central Market located just 3 mins walking distance to Petaling Street Market within the vicinity of Chinatown Kuala Lumpur.

During my 2D1N staycation, I had the opportunity to stay in the Bong Soo room which the room is designed with the modern heritage concept and fully equipped with modern amenities such as a 43" Google Android Chromecast built-in TV and Netflix, an in-room safe, mini fridge, coffee & tea making facilities, and working table.

For Bong Soo room, you have the option to go for three (3) bed types namely King, Queen, or Twin Beds with a total room size of 18m2. Hence, this room type is perfect for 2 pax and you will surely get a perfectly good night's sleep looking at its comfortable bed and fluffy pillows.

One of the highlights available here is the glass roof which you can challenge yourself to walk on it. For a person with acrophobia, it is not easy for me to complete even if it is just a short walk.

There are three (3) dining options available here at Santa Grand Signature Kuala Lumpur. First, located in the hotel's lobby is Kopi Bar which gives us a great place to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee with some light snacks. 

 

Here, you can order a quick bite or brew as KOPIBAR serves aromatic and traditional coffee, tea, fresh juices, pastries, and traditional local snacks with an option of stay, dine in, or grab and go!

Second dining option will be the Kapitan Cafe, the in-house all-day dining with Peranakan and international cuisine. Peranakan or Nyonya cuisine is a blend of Chinese ingredients with various distinct spices and cooking techniques used by the Malay or Indonesian community.

This gives rise to Peranakan interpretations of Malay/Indonesian food that is similarly tangy, aromatic, spicy, and herbal hence, the Peranakans have also adopted Malay cuisine as part of their taste palate.
