I have a wonderful trip to Central Jakarta previously and today, I will be sharing about my recent staycation at Jambuluwuk Thamrin Hotel, Jakarta.

During my 2-night stay, I had the Executive Suite Room that can comfortably fit up to 2 adults with a total living space of 35 sqm. This room is uniquely designed to transport you back to the Batavia Colonial good old days with the cozy look and feel.
Other room types available here include Deluxe Room, Deluxe Premier Room, Suite Room and Jambuluwuk Suite Room.

The room also comes with an attached bathroom equipped with a standing shower and a bathtub. Yes, you heard me right! I do enjoy my stay, especially after a long day exploring the beauty of Central Jakarta by taking a hot bath soak to relax.
They also provide basic toiletries in case you did not bring your own, a hair dryer and also towels for two pax.

Some rooms feature a kitchenette, but the room that I stay do not have it! I will just share a few others amenities that are available in the room. My concern is always the safety box and bingo, this room does have a digital safe deposit box where I can keep our my valuable belonging when I am not in the room.
There is a mini fridge in the room to keep your things chill during your stay and drinking water is provided in a glass bottle as part of the green initiative to reduce the usage of plastic bottles. On top of that, a coffee and tea making facility is provided including an electric water kettle.
Oh yes, the iron and ironing board is available upon request only. Hence, you can make a call to the reception counter to request it, in case you need to iron your ootd!

Jambuluwuk Thamrin Hotel offers a good option that is perfect for both leisure and business stays. In the room, there is a work desk provided where I can work and get connected to the complimentary Wi-Fi with great speed. I did not encounter any connection issues even though I had a conference video call to complete some personal work during my stay.

One more highlight that I want to share is the plug point in the room as it is already known to frequent travelers that Indonesia has different types of plug points (Type C) compared to Malaysia (Type G).
But surprisingly, I can easily use the power socket without the need of using my universal adapter. This is brilliant, isn't it?
This is the beauty of this hotel, but do not use this as a reason for you to skip bringing your universal travel adapter when you are visiting other places around Indonesia.
By the way, the plug points are made available in several locations in the room including both sides of the bed and toilet.

Next, let us explore other facilities available in Jambuluwuk Thamrin Hotel Jakarta which includes the outdoor Tropical Pool located at the Lower Ground together with Frestro Asia Thamrin and Croustille Bakery & Coffee Thamrin.
On the Mezzanine floor, there are two meetings room namely the Pasar Baroe Meeting Room and the Kota Tua Meeting Room with Mushola for the convenience of Muslim guests while on the 8th Floor, there is Melah Sauna, Melah Health Club and another meeting room, Gambir Meeting Room.

Although I stayed here for two nights, I had one of my breakfast takeaway and another having it here at Frestro Asia Thamrin. Allow me to share with you my breakfast experience now. I do really love the spread here, not many choices but sufficient to nutritiously fuel our day.

Here at Frestro Asia Thamrin, you have two options either you can go for indoor or outdoor seats depending on your preference. From my observation, I saw families with kids prefer outdoor seating since their kids can enjoy pool sessions while they enjoy their breakfast, two activities at a time!

Besides breakfast, Frestro Asia Thamrin also served ala carte lunch and dinner and look what we ordered before we departed back to Malaysia.
I loved the variety of choices, the taste and the food presentation here, it really suits my tastebuds and it is truly recommended for you to try it out too on your next visit.
